British Craft Trade Fair

This is the University of Bolton's stand at the British Craft Trade Fair this weekend. the majority of students I exhibited with are a group of very talented second years and I felt our work created an impressive body of work. My own pieces on display were four beaded clutch bags that can be seen in the third photograph. I hope everyone had a good show!

Careers!

I am currently exploring future career options and the possibilities are truly endless! I am trying to narrow down my options through preference but the more research I do the more I find these different paths appealing. Fashion, home ware, surface design, free lance, graphics, embroidery, commission, trade shows, galleries .... phew they are just some of my starting points! I feel so inspired by these options, such a wealth of artistic routes to pursue! The future is promising, E xx

British Craft Trade Fair

I'm very excited to be showing as part of a group stand at the British Craft Trade Fair in Harrogate this year!
The show is open 15th -17th April and hopefully will allow me to meet a whole new group of people, both customers and fellow designers. It is also a great goal for me to make sure I have all products and promotions ready for the event. My first trade fair, hopefully the first of many :)

Bolton One Installation Completed :)

My first public installation artwork is completed! It was installed on Friday and I am so happy with how it looks in situ! It took a lot of hard work an time but was definitely worth it in the end.
The photos show it from a few view points and you can see the artwork at the Bolton One building, a collaboration between Bolton University, the NHS and Bolton Council.

Bolton One Final Installation

The Bolton One project I began last year is in its final stages. My design seen below will be installed onto glass balustrades on Wednesday. The building is to be opened  on 14th February!
I'm so excited to see this public installation as it will be my first professional commission.

Apricot Clothing competition with Now magazine

I am so excited to have won myself a placement with Apricot Clothing. The dress I designed will be on sale through their outlets and I will go to their London base for a months experience working in fashion :)  Here is the winning design :)
